Recently, the 7th China–Arab States Expo was grandly held in Yinchuan, Ningxia. As an important part of the Expo, the “China–Arab New Energy Industry High-Quality Development Exchange and Promotion Conference” was successfully on the afternoon of August 28 at Yuelanshan International Hotel in Yinchuan. Mr. Wen, Chairman of Xinda Transformer Co., Ltd., and Mr. Kong, Head of the Overseas Market Department, were invited to attend, focusing on international cooperation in the new energy sector and actively expanding overseas business opportunities.
Background and Objectives
With the acceleration of the global energy transition, the new energy industry has become a key area of cooperation between China and Arab countries. Leveraging its core technological advantages in power equipment manufacturing, Xinda Transformer Co., Ltd. actively responds to the Belt and Road Initiative and seeks cooperation opportunities with Arab countries in wind power, photovoltaic, and other new energy grid construction projects.

Chairman Wen and Mr. Kong attended keynote speeches delivered by representatives from Arab countries, industry experts, and leaders of new energy enterprises. Mr. Kong paid particular attention to investment plans in smart grids and energy storage systems in the Middle East region.

During the conference, Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone and the China–Saudi Jizan Industrial Cluster conducted industrial promotion sessions. Chairman Wen actively engaged in discussions with representatives from Saudi industrial silicon projects and leaders from methanol-based new energy industrialization centers, exploring application scenarios of transformers in new energy projects and reaching preliminary intentions for technical cooperation.

Following the conference, Xinda Transformer Co., Ltd. participated in a photovoltaic and wind energy industry salon, where the company established connections with enterprises such as Ningxia Zhonghuan Photovoltaic and Yinchuan Weili Transmission. Both sides plan to further cooperate on localized production and operation & maintenance services for wind power transformers.
